Book: Rowing Between Rooftops
Rejimon Kuttappan is the author of Rowing Between Rooftops (Speaking Tiger) and Undocumented (Penguin), works that chronicle the hidden worlds of migrant labour, exploitation, and resilience. His forthcoming books — Ambedkar and Workers' Rights (Manorama Books) and River of Grey Flowers (Speaking Tiger) — further deepen his engagement with labour rights and social justice.
An independent journalist, forced labour investigator, and workers’ rights activist, Rejimon writes for Al Jazeera and partners with global organisations to uncover human trafficking and exploitative labour systems. His investigations have contributed to policy discussions and international advocacy around labour reform.
In October 2025, he spoke at the UN Business and Human Rights Forum in Bangkok, where he addressed the intersections of business, migration, and human rights. His work continues to foreground the voices and struggles of the most vulnerable workers across South and Southeast Asia
